2009 - La Bassine Carbon Balanced

www.worldlandtrust.org Made in Water Ltd carbon balanced 22.48 tonnes of carbon dioxide to offset the electricity used in production and sea freight shipment of Made In Water pools for 12 months from 1st April 2009. The Carbon Balanced Fund is used to acquire land and undertake restoration projects working through local partner organisations. Through the generous support of individuals and organisations the World Land Trust has been instrumental in the purchase and protection of nearly 400,000 acres of tropical forest and other threatened habitats which would otherwise have been lost.

2008 - La Bassine Carbon Balanced

Made in Water Ltd has offset the emissions of carbon dioxide associated with the electricity used in the production of Made in Water birth pools, and their sea freight shipment, through the World Land Trust Carbon Balanced programme. These funds will be invested in World Land Trust Restoration Ecology Projects which deliver offsets through the restoration and protection of threatened tropical forests.

These projects are designed to benefit biodiversity conservation and are managed in collaboration with local non-governmental organisations.

2007 - Made in Water Ltd offsets CO2 emission

MADE IN WATER LTD has made a donation to the World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Fund to offset the emission of carbon dioxide from the production and shipping of Made in Water birth pools and organic pillows. These funds will be invested in land purchase and reforestation of threatened tropical forests in Ecuador, as part of the WLT/Fundacion Jocotoco rainforest project.
